AESC (Automotive Energy Supply Corporation) was established as a joint venture between Nissan Motor Company, Ltd., NEC Corporation, and NEC Tokin Corporation to develop and produce high-performance lithium-ion batteries for cars.

Oct.

2010

AESC started the mass production of the electric battery for the Nissan FUGA HYBRID.

Nov.

2010

AESC started the mass production of the lithium-ion battery for the Nissan LEAF (100% electric-powered). The Nissan LEAF won the “European Car Of The Year 2011” award.

2011

The Nissan LEAF won the “World Car Of The Year 2011” award

May.

2011

AESC was awarded the IBA Technology Award from the International Battery Materials Association: (IBA) for its contribution to the development of lithium-ion batteries for transportation applications.

2015

August 2015 AESC began selling mobile power charger, the Po-Chiku and Po-Chiku big. AESC began selling the LEAF dedicated power conversion box, LEAF to 100V.

AESC received IATF16949:2016 accreditation.

Envision Group initiated the acquisition process of AESC.
